Macromedia FLASH These special effects (as well as many others) can add excitement, fun, interactivity and unique appeal to any website. Macromedia FLASH has opened the door for the development of highly advanced 'graphic animation' and 'special effects' in website development. You can effectively utilize FLASH by implementing just one, or a few individual effects (as shown in these separate examples below) or you can build an entire interactive website with FLASH. The choice 'to FLASH' or 'not to FLASH' depends upon a wide variety of factors. Feel free to contact us with any questions you may have. 'Mystical' Splash Page For Website This is an example of a "FLASH" Splash Page. This was developed for a client who designs a unique and creative type of jewelry piece It opens up with the movement of the stars, followed by the title, and then the pendant fades in from the blackness of outer space Then this page will automatically forward to another page in the website, or allow the user to skip the flash introduction. Cool Dots That Follow Your Mouse In the first "Cool Dots" example, when the new window opens, run your mouse anywhere within the window area. You will see the dots appear and then follow the movement of your mouse. The dots will also fade out as you continue to move the mouse within the special window area. In the second "Cool Dots" example, you'll see a group of dots that are place on top of some text. But when you run your mouse over the dots, the words below will slowly become more visible. This effect is fun and can be used and altered in many various ways.
Drag And Drop Me Simply put your mouse over the (button) image that will appear in a new pop-up window. Then, click on the image to DRAG it anywhere within that window. You will see the image (button) follow your mouse as long as you hold your mouse button 'down.' When you release the mouse button the image will be DROPPED. You can repeat this over and over again. (Drop and drag the image as many times as you'd like.) This example can be used in order to place any type of an object within a window that a user might want to move from one position to another.
